Start With A $500 Initial Service Deposit

Before sourcing begins, you complete our Import Service Agreement and pay a $500 Initial Service Deposit. This confirms your commitment and begins your dedicated search.

The $500 deposit is credited toward our total $1,600 Import Management Service Fee. The remaining $1,100 becomes payable once a vehicle has been successfully secured on your behalf.

The deposit becomes non-refundable once sourcing, auction monitoring, research, translations, inspections or bid preparation has commenced.

Auction Approval & Bidding

When we find a suitable vehicle, we provide the auction details, inspection information, estimated costs and recommended bidding range.

Before bidding, you approve the vehicle, auction listing, maximum bid amount and estimated associated costs.

Japanese auction purchases are final once successful, so we only bid once you have approved the vehicle and maximum budget.

Vehicle Purchase & Payment

If successful at auction, the vehicle is purchased specifically on your behalf. You are then responsible for the vehicle cost and related Japan-side/import costs.

Customs, quarantine and compliance

Japan-side fees may include auction access, export processing, deregistration, export documentation, transport from auction and shipping coordination. These are separate from our Import Management Service Fee.

Export & Shipping

After payment confirmation, the vehicle is transported from auction, prepared for export, deregistered in Japan and booked onto the next available vessel.

Typical shipping timeframe is approximately 4–8 weeks depending on destination and vessel availability.

Import, Compliance & Registration

Once the vehicle arrives, customs and quarantine clearance are completed, compliance is arranged if required, and registration preparation begins.

Clients are responsible for government charges, taxes, registration fees, compliance costs and associated third-party costs.

Delivery

Once the required steps are completed, your vehicle is ready for collection or delivery.

We continue assisting throughout the process to keep things smooth, transparent and professional from start to finish.
